Associate, Business Development

Full-Time Employee / Remote

In our full-time Business Development Associate (BDA) role, you will support the Business Development team across three of our three primary lines of business. With direction from the BD Team, you will create sales tools and processes for our sales team and oversee the delivery of all sales-related training. You will also oversee and manage sales pipeline reporting, assist with lead generation for new business opportunities, assist our BD Reps with closing and fulfilling business, and monitor OKRs - driving efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the BD Team across all revenue growth opportunities
  • Review RFPs and assist with proposals by preparing key data points and relevant research, and building sale presentations
  • Ensure new inbound leads are responded to promptly
  • Proactively assist in developing a prospect list
  • Implement sales marketing campaigns
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities in the industry
  • Assist during customer pitches
  • Help manage sales pipeline and update Salesforce, our principal CRM tool
  • Work with BD Team to provide campaign support, including post-campaign analysis
  • Assist, where appropriate, the fulfillment of delivery of events, membership and digital activities

What We're Looking For

  • B.A. or B.S. degree
  • 2+ years relevant experience in a sales, preferably as an account development role
  • A desire to work with and understand data
  • Strong Microsoft Office/Google Suite skills, including PowerPoint/Google Slides
  • 2+ years experience with a CRM tool is highly desired
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work effectively with a team
  • Highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
