How to Leverage the New UN Sustainable Development Goals: Expectations and Engagement Strategies

First introduced as a proposal at Rio+20 in June 2012, the new UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be launched in the fall to replace the Millennium Development Goals once they expire at the end of the year. This session will provide an overview of what to expect from the new SDGs, followed by a discussion on strategies brands can use to help meet the SDGs while creating additional value for themselves and their stakeholders in the process.
