Mark Kaye, Chief Financial Officer, Moody’s
For this distinguished keynote, we are delighted to have Mark Kaye, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Moody’s. He will deliver a talk on leadership in transforming financial decision-making, the need to scale up actions globally around finance and changing traditional accounting practices, as well as opportunities for systemic transformation and new sustainable business models.
Specifically, the keynote will discuss leadership in sustainable value creation, reporting and investor relations from the points of view of CFOs, corporate finance and accounting teams as well as the financial services industry. Mark will address leadership on 3 distinct levels:
How Moody’s and other key players in financial services can, through their work and their direct influence on capital markets, leverage key points of intervention to speed up systemic transformation toward better outcomes for both companies and investors; What the profile of the sustainability-minded CFO of the future needs to include; how CFOs and their teams inside companies can best orient themselves toward forward-looking internal ‘integrated planning’ and investment in environmental and social innovation, as well as appropriate impact measurement and reporting — as a call to action to CFOs to catch up or be left behind; and Last but not least, how Moody’s is a change agent not only through its credit ratings, research, tools and analysis, but also through targeted internal engagement with its own leaders, employees and other key stakeholders.
