Unlock New Opportunities for Thought Leadership with SB Webinars

SAP to Offer Free Online Course, “Sustainability and Business Innovation”

SAP embarked on a more sustainable business strategy five years ago. Along the way, we’ve learned a lot of lessons from customers, thought leaders and employees alike. To share those lessons with you, we’ve built a free, online course — commonly referred to as Massively Open Online Courses, or MOOCs. This MOOC, Sustainability and Business Innovation, will help you understand how to craft, implement and execute a more sustainable corporate strategy.

To share those lessons with you, we’ve built a free, online course — commonly referred to as Massively Open Online Courses, or MOOCs. This MOOC, Sustainability and Business Innovation, will help you understand how to craft, implement and execute a more sustainable corporate strategy.

Students will learn how to build a business case for sustainability, embed sustainability in business processes, engage stakeholders and report on their results in a meaningful way. Spread over six weeks, the course consists of lectures, system demos, and learning assignments. On average, students will need to find about 4 hours learning time per week to complete the video lectures and a weekly assignment. Everyone who finishes the course and passes the final exam will be issued a record of achievement to confirm the successful completion of the course.

The class will be taught by Dr. Peter Graf, chief sustainability officer at SAP, who built SAP’s sustainable strategy from the ground up. Dr. Graf will share the key learnings from the sustainability and innovation journeys of SAP and its customers, including how companies drive significant business value from acting environmentally and socially responsible.

We developed this online course for students, young professionals, experts and the public. And of course invite our customers, partners, suppliers and employees to join in. It is beneficial, but not necessary, to bring some basic business or IT knowledge to the class, paired with passion for sustainability.

The course begins on April 29th. To enroll, please visit the course page.
