Nour Tayara is the Vice President of Brand Incubation at L’Oreal USA. Previously, Nour was the Assistant Vice President of Biolage at L’Oreal USA. In this role, Nour oversaw global product innovation and brand image and execution.
Under his direction Biolage has taken a major shift towards achieving the L’Oreal group’s 2020 sustainability commitments. Nour is convinced that a brand that does well, can and should also do good, and that we can create performant, beautiful products while advancing in sustainable practices. In doing so he believes he can bring that mindset into the thousands of hair salons through the brand’s commitments to identifying every lever of a product’s lifecycle.
Previous to this position, Nour has been on various marketing positions in L’oreal for 8 years, mainly in the Parisian headquarters. His drive for corporate social sustainability has always been in action, wether working on L’Oreal’s “Hairdressers Against Aids” program or joining the delegation to One Young World.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Nour received his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal. After graduation, he moved to Paris for a Masters in Business at ESCP-EUROPE where he joined L’Oreal. From the slopes of Mount Lebanon to the splendor of the American National parks Nour has never been far from the great outdoors. His deep love and respect for nature drives his passion for sustainability.
