Rochelle is the founder and principal at People Places Words Actions (PPWA), a technical-to-creative sustainability consultancy. PPWA provides end-to-end solutions for organizations seeking support in sustainability-related data, analytics, product development, and market communication.
As a sustainability expert, eco-quant, and presenter on ESG and data science topics, Rochelle has over a decade of experience in impact calculation, sustainability strategy design, and applying machine learning to ESG products for clients worldwide. Her career highlights include creating one of the first datasets on corporate impact related to the United Nations SDGs and being awarded a patent for an ESG ranking methodology.
Rochelle is also an MBA adjunct professor at Bard College and has previously worked as the Global Head of ESG Product at Dun & Bradstreet and at S&P Global. Her work has been cited by The Economist, The Guardian, Overture, IPE, IR Magazine, and GreenBiz. She regularly speaks at conferences across the U.S. and internationally on sustainability and data science.
Before entering the sustainability field, Rochelle conducted cancer research at Weill Cornell Medical College and founded a graphic design company.
