More Than Meets the Eye:
Cat & Jack Items Made From Recycled Materials Means You Can Look and Feel Good

It’s cute, it’s high-quality, it was developed by kids for kids—oh and did we mention it’s environmentally friendly, too?

It’s cute, it’s high-quality, it was developed by kids for kids—oh and did we mention it’s environmentally friendly, too?

As if families needed another reason to love Cat & Jack, Target’s line of clothing and accessories for kids and baby, we’ve got one worth adding to the list: Target uses Repreve recycled polyester in the brand’s swimwear, graphic tees, newborn bodysuits, basic tees and tanks, and more!

Repreve recycled polyester is made from fibers that have been transformed from plastic bottles via Repreve’s very own proprietary process. And since July 2016 (when we launched Cat & Jack), Target has helped recycle nearly 250 million plastic bottles by using Repreve across the Cat & Jack collection and in a number of other Target-exclusive women’s and men’s products. Lined up end to end, that’s enough plastic bottles to wrap around the entire planet!

Why is this such a big deal? We’ve been hearing from our guests that in addition to having access to stylish products at a great value, they want to feel good about what they’re buying. Using Repreve in our products is just one way we’re showing guests that goals like focusing on the environment and making a positive social impact are important to us, too—and we’re committed to keeping them high on our list of priorities.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at some of those cute, environmentally friendly Cat & Jack products! Browse a few Target faves below and shop the full Cat & Jack collection at your local Target store or on Target.com
