PACT ORGANIC, an organic cotton basics brand, is launching the first-of-its-kind products under Fair Trade Certified label. It will sell men’s undershirt and boxer briefs at 460 participating Target locations across USA and on Target.com.
One of the fastest-growing organic cotton basics brands in the USA is all about super soft clothes and putting people first while representing the growing voice of the conscious consumer and the success of a larger movement transforming the way apparel is made.
Maya Spaull – Director of Innovation, Fair Trade USA, states, “We are so proud to partner with PACT ORGANIC to not only improve the lives of the cotton farmers, but also to empower consumers to support these efforts through their purchases. By offering premium basics made with Fair Trade Certified cotton, PACT ORGANIC is proving that quality, business and ethics go hand in hand.”
The cotton used in PACT ORGANIC’s undershirts and underwear is sourced from Chetna Organic, an India-based cooperation of 15,000 organic cotton farmers who practice non-GMO organic agriculture, which works to improve the livelihood of smallholder farmers by making sustainable and profitable farm systems to provide access to ethical cotton markets.
