Corporate Social Responsibility at Target:
Behind the Red Bullseye

"At Target, our team is our competitive advantage, and preparing future team members with a quality education today makes good business sense"

Target released four new corporate responsibility goals in 2011, including increasing its sustainable seafood selection and improving owned-brand packaging sustainability. While the graphs in the national retailer's 2011 CSR Report look promising, they also underscore the challenges of operating in a competitive market with multiple layers of stakeholders.

How does the company plan to change the behavior of millions -- consumers and employees -- necessary to meet its latest list of goals? CSRwire's Editorial Director Aman Singh sat down with Target's EVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Tim Baer, for a conversation about setting goals, expectations and managing behavior change. Read the conversation at CSRWire Talkback.
