Gildan Named One of the World’s Most Sustainably Managed Companies

Gildan Activewear Inc. announces that it has ranked 32nd overall among The Wall Street Journal’s new ranking of the Top 100 Most Sustainably Managed Companies in the world.

The Company also claimed the 6th spot among the top 10 companies in the world in the business model/innovation sub-ranking. This recognition underscores the effectiveness of the Company’s vertically-integrated operating model and supply chain from a sustainability standpoint. This has been a founding principle of the Company’s business strategy which is fully aligned with the increasing expectations of our customers, investors, employees and other stakeholders. Gildan was second among only three apparel companies included in the top 100 ranking and was also the only North American apparel company.
