On 20 May 2016, Radisson RED Brussels welcomed 75 international bloggers and journalists to stay at our world’s first Radisson RED - a new global hotel concept inspired by art, fashion and music.
Radisson RED recognizes that today's guests seek a select service, customizable experience driven by technology. In line with this, the hotel hasn’t forgotten about the latest innovation in renewable energy: the Tesla Powerwall. This revolutionary home battery with great design was recently installed in the Hi All (lobby) of the hotel and charges using renewable power generated from 20 solar panels on the roof of the hotel. Even at night, this green energy is used to power the lobby’s video wall and other devices in the hotel’s grid.
Through Eneco, the Benelux Tesla Powerwall supplier, Radisson RED Brussels is the first hotel in the country that has installed it.
