BRUSSELS (8 SEPTEMBER, 2016): Radisson Blu, the iconic hotel brand driven by innovation and design, is delighted to announce its new partnership with the Soap for Hope™ program, which recycles used hotel soaps to create fresh bars for distribution in local communities with limited access to hygiene and sanitation.
The Soap for Hope™ program works in partnership with Sealed Air, the leader in food safety and security, facility hygiene and product protection. Soap for Hope™ was pioneered by Sealed Air to save lives by giving free soap to communities with limited access to soap, to create local entrepreneurs and to help hotels reduce waste through recycling.

It certainly was – from the conference’s commitment to producing zero waste, to Pratt & Whitney’s “green” jet engine on display in the parking lot. But as a purpose-driven professional with a commitment to the social impact side of corporate social responsibility, I was thrilled to hear panelists redefine sustainability through a human-focused lens.

Today, eight of the group’s properties including its Singapore-based Asia Pacific headquarters have been awarded EarthCheck Gold Certification, and a further eighteen properties have been awarded Silver Certification.

- In 2015, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group became a founding member of a new, public-private partnership of government and corporate employers combatting sex trafficking. The partnership, BEST Employers Alliance, was launched in Seattle by Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST), a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to aligning and equipping business leaders to use the power of their businesses to prevent human trafficking.
