Annie Guo

Annie Guo leads the nature-based solutions portfolio within Microsoft’s Carbon Removal team where she and the team are charged with delivering approximately half of the carbon removal units required to achieve Microsoft’s carbon negative by 2030 goal. Her background is in energy, and she previously was responsible for energy strategy and execution for Microsoft Cloud (EMEA), project finance for commercial solar projects at General Electric, and energy efficiency consulting for USAID and EPA. Annie earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Southern California and Master of Environmental Management, focusing on energy economics & finance, from the Yale School of the Environment.
