April LaCroix joined Anthesis as Global Head of Strategy in 2026. Based in Chicago, she brings more than 20 years of experience helping global organizations translate complex priorities — sustainability, ESG, digital transformation, and operating model redesign — into measurable business value.
April brings a unique dual perspective: she has led inside multiple corporate sustainability functions and advised companies as a consultant, combining strategy and transformation skills with deep technical fluency across sustainability disciplines. She specializes in helping companies improve bottom-line performance through sustainability and in designing the capabilities, performance systems, and executive alignment needed to execute it.
April's career began at Interface, Inc., helping shape sustainability strategy inside one of the world’s pioneering sustainable businesses. She went on to become a Director at Accenture, where she partnered with 20+ Fortune 500 companies to deliver sustainability value and served as an advisor in the Office of the CEO. She is co-author of ‘Rethinking Operating Models,’ recipient of the 2025 NYC Big Book Award. April holds an MBA and MS in Business and Sustainability from the University of Michigan, and an MA in Environmental Policy from the University of Toronto as a Fulbright Scholar.
