Merrill Steketee is the Supply Chain Transparency Manager at ECOS by Earth Friendly Products, where she leads the supplier sustainability program to advance transparency, decarbonization, and sustainable procurement across global supply chains. In her role, she partners closely with suppliers to identify greenhouse gas reduction opportunities, strengthen waste and circularity practices, and embed sustainability into core sourcing and procurement decisions.
With experience spanning the private, nonprofit, and industrial sectors, Merrill has contributed to sustainability and supply chain initiatives at organizations including General Electric, the Wildlife Conservation Society, and Freeport-McMoRan. Her work focuses on turning complex sustainability challenges into actionable strategies that drive both environmental impact and business value, particularly within upstream supply chains where the majority of emissions occur.
As a Montana native, Merrill’s passion for protecting natural landscapes has been a defining influence on her career path. She brings that perspective into her work today, helping organizations navigate the intersection of supply chain management and climate action while building more resilient, transparent, and responsible supply networks.
Merrill holds an M.B.A. in Supply Chain Management & Logistics from Oregon State University, where she specialized in supply chain decarbonization. She is also a certified ISSP Sustainability Excellence Associate and a Chartered Sustainable Supply Chain and Logistics Professional. She is dedicated to accelerating industrial decarbonization and empowering companies to take meaningful ownership of their sustainability journeys through supply chain transformation.
