Pooja Sharma is an Earth lawyer who has been zealously advocating for marginalized voices through civil rights litigation, legal advocacy, and community lawyering. Her legal practice in building nonprofits and public benefit corporations introduced her to creative forms of governance and how to update legal systems to account for all voices. This brought her to the intersectionality between ecology and law and the Nature Governance team, a team that aligns with her personal and professional values of researching and developing governing systems for an ecocentric worldview. Pooja is also the Director of Legal Advocacy and Policy at Keystone Species Alliance where
she co-builds educational workshops for the public and government officials, oversees the Keystone Species Fellowship Program, and assists with litigation strategies for the rights of keystone species.
