Priti leads business operations for Future Origins, a JV aiming to drive large-scale, more sustainable production of ingredients typically made from palm oil. The JV, formed in 2022 and majority-owned by biotechnology leader Geno, has secured equity investments from Unilever, Kao Chemical and L’Oreal.
Priti joined Geno in 2006 as a research scientist, with a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. She has contributed to the development of multiple commercial products and partnerships, leading to executive roles in Strategy and corporate development. She played a key role in acquiring the core technology now being commercialized by Future Origins and in securing its initial partners.
