Sahar Kamali is the Originator on Mercuria’s Energy Transition team, focused on developing RNG supply that meets the needs of transportation, utility and voluntary buyers. Prior to joining Mercuria, she was the Director of Business Development for Clean Energy, where she led the development of the largest downstream RNG demand portfolio in the country. She also served as Director of Sustainability, establishing key materiality and risk frameworks, near and long term goals and commitments and identifying the path to achieving those goals at Clean Energy. In her role at Mercuria, she supports RNG developers from proposal to contract execution with the in-depth market insight, RFS and state-level LCFS compliance and program expertise required for successful project execution.
