Sarah Schwimmer is Head of External Affairs at B Lab, the nonprofit behind the B Corp certification that works to transform our economy so that it benefits people and our planet. Sarah has spent much of her career in purpose-driven work around the world. Before joining B Lab, she led the Business Development team at Living Goods, a Skoll and Audacious Project awardee focused on community health in Sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, she served at the United Nations Foundation, where she oversaw the institution’s engagement with bi/multilateral agencies and built new public-private partnerships. She is based in Washington, DC and is an avid reader, a baseball fan (go Cubs and Nationals!), and an aspiring vegetable gardener.
