A systems thinker and a natural facilitator, I design to solve problems, create common ground and make a positive impact on the world. I combine years of experience in product, user experience, and strategic design with business know-how, to leverage technology as means to expand participation in decision-making affecting our collective futures.
The increasing polarization of our society hinders our ability to tackle the interrelated polycrises defining our times. Nature-based solutions have proven to effectively address these interrelated challenges. In service of scaling these solutions, and leaning on my product design skills, at Context Nature I steward the development of our technology platform. Bringing a holistic approach, which marries equity with developing practical economics, I creatively problem-solve to accelerate our transition to a nature positive economy.
Previously, I co-founded and managed SocioFabrica, an award-winning user experience design agency. For over a decade, I led a cross-functional team to build innovative product experiences for NTT & IBM, redesigned the end-to-end product experience for Ruth Health to improve maternal health outcomes, and partnered with NOLABA in post-Katrina New Orleans to build trust and launch new services that catalyzed economic development.
After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), I worked at global consulting firms advising companies in creative strategy, experience design, branding and innovation for clients that include: PwC, Better Place, CPUC, (RED), PepsiCo, Target, Starbucks.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I am curious, optimistic and action-biased.
