Using newly released SoFi ts software from thinkstep, company manages sustainability across the corporation and its supply chain

BOSTON ****/ MILWAUKEE, WIS., — September 9, 2015 — thinkstep, the global leader in sustainability performance management software, data and services, today announced that Inpro, the leading manufacturer of interior and exterior architectural products, has implemented its newly released SoFi ts software, part of the thinkstep.one family of products, to manage and report on its comprehensive sustainability metrics. Using SoFi ts to track and improve its sustainability initiatives, Inpro will reduce risk along its supply chain, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and increase revenue while improving overall brand equity.

Inpro has a long history of corporate social responsibility and has received several awards for its efforts. With an in-house committee dedicated to improving the company’s overall footprint and two dedicated administrators, the group began searching for a solution that could provide insight, analysis and comprehensive reporting for the next phase of its sustainability program. The group knew they needed to upgrade from cumbersome spreadsheets and were looking for software that was intuitive and could handle complex and large data sets, yet easy to navigate and manage. Since Inpro was already pleased with the utilization of GaBi by thinkstep they realized the benefit of expanding their partnership to the SoFi ts software.”

“I finally have an executive-level dashboard at my fingertips that I can pull up in meetings to demonstrate the progress of our key sustainability initiatives,” said Mark Alan, senior vice president of product management at Inpro. “I know we will reduce resource consumption and save money. I am confident that we will realize manpower efficiencies as well.”

New SoFi ts features a completely redesigned user experience paired with a modern software design. It displays simple dashboards, cleaner, faster data collection screens, a more powerful Intelligence Center and an intuitive interface for easy access from mobile devices.

“We are extremely pleased with our decision to expand the partnership with thinkstep and implement the SoFi ts software ,” said Amanda Goetsch, sustainability manager, Inpro. “I love the SoFi ts user interface and appreciate how easy it is to analyze the data we collect. It helps us to identify areas where we can further reduce our consumption, make more informed business decisions and continue to assess the success of our programs. It is improving our overall corporate operations and helping us analyzing the scope and impact of our sustainable business initiatives.”
