Bloomberg and the China Center for International Economic Exchanges announced that 3M is one of 11 founding partners of the New Economy Forum that will be held Nov. 6-8, 2018 in Beijing, China.
The Forum will bring together the leaders of diverse economies around the world to address the future of business and the global economy.
As a founding partner, 3M will be at the heart of shaping and building this new global institution for the betterment of our company and the world.

3M is joined by 10 other founding partners; Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Dangote Group, ExxonMobil, FedEx, HSBC, Hyundai Motor Company, Mastercard, Microsoft, the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia and SoftBank Group.
The New Economy Forum will convene 400 CEOs, global business leaders, government ministers, and leading economists and academics. The New Economy Forum is aimed at stimulating productive, fact-driven dialogue among the participants to promote deeper understanding and conversation about critical global issues.
The Forum’s Advisory Board include former Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon and Bill Gates. Honorary Chair of the New Economy Forum is former U.S. Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Dr. Henry A. Kissinger. The Co-Chairs of the New Economy Forum are former U.S. Treasury Secretary and Paulson Institute Chairman Henry Paulson and Zeng Peiyan, Former Vice Premier of the State Council, PRC, and Chairman of CCIEE.
Former Aspen Institute CEO Walter Isaacson and Eurasia Group President Ian Bremmer will be leading a council of thought leaders across global business and government that will help shape the direction and content of the Forum.
