Sustainable Brands® recently announced the theme and program focus for SB’16 San Diego. ‘Activating Purpose’ is set to explore how brand leaders are achieving business success and creating scalable, positive impact while recognizing enhanced profitability through purpose-driven leadership.
“Brands that are leading with environmental and/or social purpose at their core are thriving,” states KoAnn Vikoren Skrzyniarz, founder of Sustainable Brands. “In the past 10 years we’ve seen business leaders in our community test new frameworks, deliver new tools and identify new partnerships that commit to delivering purpose profit. It’s time to recognize that our collective action creates and scales positive impact toward a flourishing future. This year’s theme celebrates the brands that are bold in their commitment to change.”
This flagship conference will convene nearly 2,000 sustainability, brand and business executives from within the Sustainable Brands community from companies such as Target, Nestlé, EY, P&G, Bloomberg, UPS, Estée Lauder and many others to explore environmental, social and economic macro forces creating system conditions for purpose-driven businesses; win-win strategies for connecting brand purpose with customer purpose; engaging suppliers and vendors in the pursuit of unified purpose along the value chain; advancing profitable and compelling product and service innovations, plus additional topics.
