Sealed Air Named Goodwill 2016 Power Partner

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin has named Sealed Air their 2016 Power Partner. This prestigious award was established to recognize organizations that provide ongoing and sizeable work opportunities for people with disabilities or disadvantages.

“There is a shared belief in the Power of Work,” said Jackie Hallberg, president and CEO, Goodwill Industries.

“The work our Power Partner companies provide improves the lives of countless individuals by creating an opportunity for people to learn, earn a paycheck and develop a sense of purpose and self-worth.”

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin has named Sealed Air their 2016 Power Partner. This prestigious award was established to recognize organizations that provide ongoing and sizeable work opportunities for people with disabilities or disadvantages.

The partnership Between Goodwill and Sealed Air began in 2011, where one simple kitting project has grown into dozens of projects from supply chain management to product repackaging, re-labeling and reworking. In 2016, this partnership provided 23,700 direct labor hours for Goodwill employees.

Since the inception of the Power Partners Awards program 18 companies have received the award including: Milwaukee Public Schools, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, Olympus Flag, VA Hospitals, MillerCoors, Northwestern Mutual, Children’s Hospital and Health System, Gehl Foods, Ocean Spray, Rust-Oleum, Froedtert Hospital, Briggs & Stratton, Kelch, ChemRite CoPac, Cree, Inc., Creation Technologies and the US Navy and SC Johnson.
