Target Now Accepting Youth Wellness Partner Proposals

You may have heard that Target is evolving its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy

You may have heard that Target is evolving its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy to focus on wellness. Target believes wellness begins where people live, learn, work and play. So as part of their strategy, they're exploring new ways to build a wellness portfolio focused on helping youth to lead healthy lifestyles by overcoming the barriers to wellness—things like access, affordability and inspiration.

Target knows from experience that working together with their team members, guests and communities creates better outcomes on issues that matter to everyone. With the help of their national and local nonprofit partners, they want to invest in bold and innovative youth programs that inspire youth and their families to eat healthy and be active as part of a life-long approach to wellness. Here’s where you and your school or organization come in.

Submit your proposal for a Target Youth Programming Wellness Grant. Between now and Nov. 11, 2015, they’re encouraging charitable 501c3 organizations, pre-K-12th grade U.S. schools, and public agencies to send proposals for research-based and outcome-oriented programs that will help drive sustained changes in healthy attitudes or behaviors. Check out this PDF to learn more about the details and click here to submit your proposal.

Applicants should think big! Target is very interested in programs that address healthy eating and active living in innovative ways, both new and existing.
