Sustainability leaders today are being asked to build the new while the old is unraveling – to lead teams, attract investment, and deliver results in an environment defined by accelerating volatility, compounding disruptions and growing constraints. Many carry the responsibility of stewarding innovation for people and the planet, while privately navigating uncertainty, overwhelm, exhaustion, and self-doubt. The current leadership paradigm – focused on optimization, control, and relentless growth – offers little space for reflection, emotion, or shared meaning. As the boundaries of our world tighten, so too does the emotional landscape of those tasked with shaping its future.
For twenty years, Sustainable Brands has provided exactly what leaders need in moments like this: spaces that restore perspective, language, and connection – places where they can safely explore the inner and collective dimensions of resilience.
The Resilience Spiral Immersion is an experiential workshop that does just that. Co-facilitated by Ariana Gómez (The Resilience Collective) and Raphael Bemporad (BBMG) – who have helped lead SB's Adaptation and Resilience Summit programming for the past two years – this session guides participants through the five elements of the Resilience Spiral Framework: Understanding, Facing Change, Belonging, Re-imagining, and Becoming. Through guided reflection, embodied exercises, and small-group dialogue, participants will move from awareness and emotional honesty toward imagination, connection, and co-creation.
This is not another panel or a presentation. It is a rare space – within the pace of a conference — to tell the truth about what this moment demands, and to find, together, the emotional and creative ground to lead again. Participants will leave with renewed clarity, practical resilience tools, and a deeper sense of purpose.
