Circular economy commitments are easier to make than they are to operationalize. Without a rigorous framework for tracking progress, companies risk more than just greenwashing claims; they risk misaligned investments and the inability to prove real-world impact. This session cuts through the noise by examining three leading methodologies for measuring circularity: the Cradle to Cradle Certified® standard, the UL 3600 Circularity Facts Program, and the WBCSD Global Circularity Protocol.
The session is structured in two distinct phases: first, practitioners from each framework will provide a focused overview of their methodology’s scope and best-fit use cases. In the second half, a corporate panel of practitioners will share the "view from the field"—discussing the realities of data collection, what surprised them during implementation, and how they are using these metrics to drive strategic decision-making. Attendees will leave with a practical roadmap for choosing the measurement approach that aligns with their specific business context.
