Amy Meyer is an Associate in WRI’s Business Center. She focuses on policy leadership within the private sector, including growing the institute’s strategy to mobilize positive business influences on climate legislation at the state and federal level.
Prior to joining WRI, Amy worked as an energy-efficiency consultant, specializing in market characterization, program evaluation, and behavior change models. In this role she worked closely with US utility companies as well as state and local governments. In addition, she also served as the sustainability analyst for a west coast community bank, developing a strategy to quantify lending impact and managing the organization’s federal and state grants.
Amy was formerly an intern with WRI in 2018.
She holds a Master’s (M.C.P.) degree in Urban Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Amy spends her free time reading mystery novels and exploring new culinary cuisines.
