Katie Flanagan is an Associate with the Food Program, where she works on food loss and waste.

She previously worked at The Prince of Wales's International Sustainability Unit, where she worked on the Food Team and led the Unit’s work on sustainable apparel, through which she helped launch the Sustainable Cotton Communique that over 50 global companies have now signed. She previously volunteered on a community forestry project in Malawi, on various sexual and reproductive health projects in Nepal, and worked as a special educational needs teaching assistant in the UK.

She has a degree in Philosophy and Sociology from the University of Leeds and an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. She is based in London, UK.
