WYANDOTTE, MI July 19, 2012 -- BASF Corporation has been invited to participate in the White House’s discussion on ”Greening the Games” on July 19 at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in Washington, DC. This discussion will celebrate the sports industry’s success in adopting innovative sustainable practices.

BASF invited to White House to discuss ‘Greening the Games’ WYANDOTTE, MI July 19, 2012 -- BASF Corporation has been invited to participate in the White House’s discussion on ”Greening the Games” on July 19 at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in Washington, DC. This discussion will celebrate the sports industry’s success in adopting innovative sustainable practices. This event will focus on the economic and environmental benefits associated with these sustainable practices. Senior administration officials will lead/participate in three discussion panels that will focus on league, team, and supply chain perspectives. BASF’s invitation is a result of the company’s successful sponsorship of the Seattle Mariners’ Zero Waste Initiative. Christopher Bradlee, Market Development Manager, Biodegradable Polymers, will represent BASF and discuss BASF’s project with the Mariners as well as other sustainable solutions that BASF offers. “BASF is honored to participate in this discussion and excited to continue collaborating with this and other industries on sustainable solutions,” said Bradlee.
