PreZero US is actively sourcing all source-separated postconsumer film including the categories LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) and LLDPE Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) for domestic mechanical recycling.
The California-based recycling company has recently opened an Environmental Campus in Jurupa Valley, CA and has made
significant investment in another facility in Westminster, SC. PreZero US will be paying competitively within the market for the source material.
The PreZero Environmental Campus in Jurupa Valley has already begun processing plastic film material – also known as LDPE and LLDPE into consistent, high-quality resins. PreZero brands these resins as CoreFilm and now has the capacity to ship on a truckload basis. Examples of the requested inbound material include flexible film, bubble wrap, shrink wrap and grocery bags. This material is accepted at the facility as Grade A and Grade B bales, which are then shredded, washed, and pelletized.
