Vanguard Renewables regenerates unused food and farm manure into renewable energy. Partnering with food industry leaders, institutions, and businesses, our closed-loop, Farm Powered® anaerobic digestion program is the largest organics recycling destination in the Northeast, currently processing more than 200,000 tons of organics annually. Vanguard’s projects nationwide regenerate unused food and/or farm waste, sustain farms, significantly offset greenhouse gas emissions, and generate renewable energy. Vanguard has a long-standing partnership with Dairy Farmers of America and a $200M+ partnership with Dominion Energy to bring anaerobic digesters to farms across America.
Vanguard Renewables was named the National Waste and Recycling Association’s 2018 Organics Recycler of the Year. The Company received the 2019 American Biogas Council Up-and-Coming Project Award for its AD facility in Salisbury, Vt. and the 2019 American Biogas Council Longevity Award for its Rutland, Ma. AD facility. Vanguard’s Hadley, Ma. digester project won 2016 American Biogas Council Project of the Year honors.
