Companies across the forest industry are working toward more sustainable practices that protect people, biodiversity and our climate – with many setting ambitious goals to source from more sustainable forests. The challenge? Only 11% of the world’s working forests are currently FSC certified.

This session will explore the complexities that arise as large global brands work to increase the sustainability of their supply chains. How can companies partner with organizations and certifications, communicate with suppliers and consumers, and understand their role in the broader picture of responsible production? Join us for this informative discussion.

What you will learn:

  • Levers on the supply side to encourage certification and best practices for communicating the importance of certification schemes.
  • Tips for inspiring consumers to choose responsibly sourced products.
  • How to best contribute to NGO partnerships and collaborations that can drive continued progress.
