Frantz is the Global Head of R&D Sustainable Innovation at the Procter & Gamble Company. With
more than 25 years of experience in P&G R&D, Frantz is a passionate serial Innovation Leader with
high sustained track-record across multiple categories on leading brands like Tide, Mr. Clean, Swiffer.
Frantz’ motto is to “Make Sustainable Irresistible®” for the 5Bn consumers that P&G serves around
the world. In that sake, Frantz has launched a global Innovation program called “50L Home”, aiming
to re-invent residential water consumption in urban living behind a simple question: “What if our future
Homes could run at 50L water per day per person – yet “feel like” 500L, at low Carbon”. Given water
heating is the #2 GHG contributor in our homes, 50LH seeks indeed to address both the water &
climate issue. Beyond P&G, Frantz spearheaded the formation of the 50LH Coalition– partnering with
the World Business Council for Sustainable Development & the World Economic Forum– to bring
together companies, technology innovators, public places, research organizations, policy makers and
communities for Systems-Transformation.
50L Home has been selected by the World Economic Forum as top 100 lighthouse projects in 2020
and top “World Changing Ideas” by Fast Company in 2021. The team is now “live” testing solutions in
a Pilot in Los Angeles over 30 homes.
In his personal life, Frantz enjoys exciting challenges as a competitive tennis player and cross-skiing,
aiming for the Mont Blanc summit after last reaching the Mont Paradisio at 4100m altitude. What else
from a “Nature-lover” who was born in Annecy, France – at the mountains’ feet?...
