MILLERCOORS LAUNCHES MONTHLONG VOLUNTEER EFFORT TO PROTECT WATER
Thousands of Employees Volunteer to Protect Water Resources During Great Water Month
CHICAGO (Sept. 8, 2016) — MillerCoors is kicking off its largest annual volunteer event to protect beer’s most important ingredient: water. Each year the brewer designates September as “Great Water Month,” when thousands of MillerCoors employees participate in projects across the nation to protect local water resources and promote water stewardship. The projects take employees off-campus and into their local communities to repair riverbeds, clean up coastlines and remove trash.
