Overview

With many states and localities increasingly exploring public policy options to lower carbon emissions, biodiesel is an affordable and accessible solution for many.

Please join us for a lively conversation about the benefits of biodiesel and how public and private organizations have adopted this cleaner-burning fuel in their transportation operations.

Made from soybeans, used cooking oil and other renewable feedstock, biodiesel is designated as an advanced biofuel under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Renewable Fuel Standard and the California Air Resources Board’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard. It provides a minimum lifecycle carbon reduction of 50 percent when compared to petroleum diesel.

What You Will Learn

In this webinar, attendees will be presented with these takeaways:

  • Discover the sustainability practices that soybean farmers use when growing their crop that is used to make biodiesel
  • Learn about the environmental and health benefits of using biodiesel
  • Gain insights from companies and government fleets that use biodiesel in their operations
  • Find out how to incorporate biodiesel into sustainability goals and reporting
