Sustainable Brands Welcomes Newest Addition to Leadership Team

Sustainable Brands® announced today that Etienne White has joined the company’s leadership team as VP, Brands for Good to help expand the fast-growing collaborative initiative launched last month.

SB Brands for Good, is a new initiative launched by Sustainable Brands aimed at tapping the power of brands to reshape culture and mobilize action toward a regenerative future at scale. Founding partners include Procter & Gamble, National Geographic, Nestlé Waters, Target, Dentsu Aegis Network, PepsiCo, SAP SuccessFactors, SC Johnson, Visa as well as the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), EY, Futerra, Global Citizen, Porter Novelli and WeSpire. Etienne brings a wealth of leadership experience in marketing, advertising and sustainability across consumer brands, agencies and environmental non-profit organizations to the company, and to this ground-breaking initiative.

Etienne began her career in brand management and marketing, working at award winning, globally recognized advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett and Fallon, supporting leading brands in the CPG, financial services, youth brands and tech sectors amongst others. She later served as VP marketing for two US apparel retailers and as Chief Marketing Officer at the Forest Stewardship Council.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Sustainable Brands at such a pivotal time, both in terms of the macro-level challenges before us and the opportunities they create,” states White. “I look forward to working with world-class companies, helping to make the connections between consumer lifestyle and product choices and their impacts on climate, natural resources and society. I’m excited to drive both volume and value; in terms of the number of brands joining the initiative, as well as in the powerful impact we can make together. This moment in time calls for bold action, and Brands for Good is poised to deliver.”

“Brands for Good is one of SB’s most ambitious initiatives to date, opening a unique opportunity for cross sector collaboration to inspire and enable consumers to connect sustainable living with the good life of tomorrow. Etienne has been a long-time active SB community member and brings the perfect set of skills and talents to help our coalition catch wings and scale its reach and impact quickly,” states KoAnn Vikoren Skrzyniarz, founder and Chief Executive of Sustainable Brands. “Through this important cross-sector brand collaboration, we can help activate society against a few powerful goals that can ladder up to slow climate change, protect our natural resources for future generations and build more resilient communities. Together we can help shape the world we all want and we are honored to play a part in building it.”
