Most of us love a bar of really good quality chocolate. But how we do know if behind that critical raw ingredient – cocoa – the wellbeing of people and planet are held to equally high standards?

Join us for a one-hour session packed with tips on how to build credibility, trust and value for your business. You’ll learn how industry peers are tackling some of the challenges in cocoa, exploring three major issues – equality, climate crisis and income security.

There will be live examples of how we work with different companies, who will share the impact of our partnership. You’ll also hear about Fairtrade’s consumer pull, and how we can support you to meet your sustainability goals through a combination of certification and licensing and communications tools. Meanwhile, representing cocoa farmers, Fairtrade Africa’s Anne Marie Yao, known in cocoa-growing communities as ‘Mama Cocoa’, will share perspectives on equality from the cocoa fields, and explain the impact of a growing number of businesses choosing Fairtrade certified cocoa.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn directly from senior industry leaders, including two of Fairtrade’s most innovative global commercial partners and experts.

Wednesday, November 3, 8:30 am PDT, 11:30 am EDT, 3:30 pm GMT

Can’t join in real time? Register anyway! We will send you a recording of the webinar.

As a chemical engineering and development studies graduate, Paul has catalyzed change in global corporates as well as national governments, so it was chemistry at first sight when we met in 2017.
