- SAN FRANCISCO, May 30, 2018 - Sustainable Brands® recently announced that Darren Beck has been promoted to Vice President of the SB Corporate Member Network. Beck joined the company’s leadership team as Senior Director of Corporate Membership 18 months ago to further develop and enhance the growing SB Corporate Member Network. He brought a wealth of experience in sustainability, CSR and social impact, having spent 15 years with Sprint, including as Director of Environmental Initiatives. Since that time, he and his team have maintained a member retention rate of more than 80 percent and are on track to grow the network nearly 50 percent in 2018.

- Building on its decades-long record of sustainability leadership, 3M announced today that it has formed the Sustainability and Product Stewardship Organization. The organization will be led by Dr. Gayle Schueller, vice president and chief sustainability officer, 3M Research & Development, effective June 1.

- Fortune has named 12 Sustainable Brands Members to its 2018 list of Worlds Most Admired Companies.
The list ranks companies based on their reputation among business leaders, and is gathered through surveys with executives across more than 50 industries. Executives are asked to name companies that they admire, both inside and outside of their industry. Companies are assessed on nine attributes, including innovation, people management, use of assets, social responsibility, management quality, financial soundness, long-term investment value, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.
