Janelle James is an experienced global marketing strategist, consumer expert, and inclusion specialist with a passion for changing the world. Her career spans 20+ years, includes multiple marketing disciplines, and has enabled her work to touch over a billion people. She’s currently an SVP at Ipsos leading cultural intelligence across the US, designing a wide range of studies and insights engagements for Fortune 500 companies, and consulting client partners and key stakeholders on everything from consumer and market knowledge to social sustainability and strategy development. Her work often involves analyzing data to find new approaches to reach expanded audiences, innovate, and shape everything from AI systems to Advertising with cross-cultural perspectives. Janelle is an Effie juror and an opinion writer, co-chairs the ARF Cultural Effectiveness Council, and hosts a monthly podcast for the ARF called 'CultureConnect’.
