America's Best Organics, a certified B Corporation that provides hand-curated, eco-friendly gift box collections, has partnered with several other B Corporations to launch a special holiday offering for individual and corporate gifting.
The company says there will be six holiday-themed “B the Change” gift boxes, or “B Boxes” as they are commonly called, available for purchase online. These include the B Merry, B Festive, B Happy, B Joyful, B Peace, and B Jolly Gift Boxes. The boxes include natural and earth-friendly products from Alter Eco, Blue Avocado, Bare Snacks, Essential Living Foods, Fearless Chocolates, Full Circle Home, I AM Products, King Arthur Flour, Mamma Chia, Numi Organic Tea, Peeled Snacks, Preserve Products, Runa, Sencha Naturals, Sweetriot and Teatulia.
The ‘B the Change’ campaign is a consumer-facing initiative with participation from more than 850 Certified B Corporations that celebrates and rewards people using business as a force for good, Best Organics says.
B Corporations must meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency in order to be certified by the nonprofit B Lab. B Corporations commit to structure and operate their businesses to maximize value for society, the planet and a sustainable economy.
“All of us can be the change by supporting a better way to do business,” said B Lab co-founder Jay Coen Gilbert. “Consumers care about the companies that stand behind the products they buy and the B Corp certification makes it easy for consumers to buy better products from better companies.”
Best Organics says it will expand the B the Change gift box offering to include gifts appropriate for occasions throughout the year.
Speaking of responsible business, in August, Alter Eco, New Leaf Paper and Plum Organics were among the 17 companies that were the first to register as Delaware benefit corporations after the state legalized it on July 17. While Delaware was the 19th state (plus the District of Columbia) to enact benefit corporation legislation, as the legal home of most venture-backed businesses, the majority of publicly traded companies and nearly two-thirds of the Fortune 500, it is the most important state for businesses that seek access to venture capital, private equity and public capital markets.
