Fairtrade America Calls for Democratization of Data Across Supply Chains

Farmers working within complex supply chains require democracy in data to obtain a living wage. If the goal is supply chain sustainability, then data needs to be shared among all stakeholders. 

Data tracking is essential to improve daily operations and profit margins for most businesses, especially those with complex supply chains. Fairtrade America is calling for coffee manufacturers to share relevant data with farmers to help them improve their operational efficiency and earn a fair price for their crops. These farmers deserve democracy in data to obtain a living wage.
