Ramblers Way, an ethically sourced, American-made sustainable clothing company announced today an extensive rebrand across the company along with the new tagline ‘Clothing for a Good Life.’ The new brand look and feel embodies Ramblers Way’s commitment to protect the planet, support local economies and build its business based on lifelong values.

Founded in 2007 by sustainability pioneer and former owner of Tom’s of Maine, Tom Chappell, Ramblers Way offers premium Rambouillet Merino wool and Pima cotton clothing lines to women and men seeking a sustainable alternative for next to skin clothing that can be worn comfortably both in the office and in nature. Chappell created Ramblers Way after a multi-year search for clothing that met specific performance needs and minimized the impact on nature. He established an all-American supply chain that meets the company’s stringent standards for sustainable agriculture and animal welfare.

“We all share the natural world, and we want it to be enjoyed for many generations to come,” Chappell said. “Business plays a critical role in ensuring we create healthy systems in which people and all of life can thrive. With Ramblers Way, we’re crafting beautiful clothing that makes people feel good, both inside and out.”

In addition to the rebrand, the company also announced a strategic collaboration with Freedom Design Group to help the Ramblers Way team execute its vision for sustainable clothing. Led by former UGG, Columbia Sportswear and Timberland executives Dominic D’Alessandro and Michael Boyle, Freedom Design Group will create a new collection of all-season essentials made from premium Pima cotton and superfine, worsted Rambouillet Merino wool.

“Dom and Michael bring deep apparel industry expertise to our team, which, combined with our ethos and outlook, will usher in an exciting new phase for Ramblers Way,” Chappell added.

Over the course of their more than 25-year careers in the apparel industry, D’Alessandro and Boyle have shaped product design and development, merchandising and sales services for several lifestyle brands, including Woolrich, Eddie Bauer, Lacoste and Joseph Abboud.

Ramblers Way hopes the rebrand and new collection provide conscious consumers an opportunity to ‘shop small’ and put their dollars towards sustainable options on Small Business Saturday and Cyber Sunday and Monday. The company is offering holiday sales of 30 percent off online and at its flagship retail location in Maine, and has plans to expand with two new locations set to open in New Hampshire later this year.
