According to the Charities Aid Foundation of America (CAF America),
nearly a third of nonprofits
providing essential services such as food, clean water, housing and shelter, and
education are at risk of closing their doors due to economic impacts from
COVID-19. That means greater risk to the individuals and families who need these
services, just at the time they need them the most.
