This story is about a lesson learned in the shoe business from an unlikely
source: a boba tea drink. At the time, it seemed like an innocuous event in my travels — just sharing refreshments with a vendor — but I later came to realize it was a profound moment in my career.

points, New Yorkers will be encouraged to get involved by donating, repairing, reselling or swapping their old clothes to give them a new life.

I want to encourage all of the stakeholders — brands and consumers — to work together to move the needle, as we look to mitigate fashion and textile waste impact over the next two decades.
