Ford Provides $50k In Grants To High School Community Projects

PRESS RELEASE - The Ford Motor Company Fund’s NGL (Next-Generation Learning) program has teamed with the company’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) program to provide $50,000 in grants to high school student-led community programs designed to promote sustainability and innovation. One first-place project will receive $20k in funding from Ford NGL, while a second-place project will get $10k, and four third-place initiatives will be given $5k apiece.

The UPS Foundation Awards More Than $2.3 Million To Expand Global Volunteerism

GM and Honda to Establish Industry-First Joint Fuel Cell System Manufacturing Operation in Michigan

PRESS RELEASE - General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) and Honda (NYSE: HMC) today announced establishment of the auto industry’s first manufacturing joint venture to mass produce an advanced hydrogen fuel cell system that will be used in future products from each company. Fuel Cell System Manufacturing, LLC will operate within GM’s existing battery pack manufacturing facility site in Brownstown, Michigan, south of Detroit. Mass production of fuel cell systems is expected to begin around 2020 and create nearly 100 new jobs. The companies are making equal investments totaling $85 million in the joint venture.

Eastman Supplies for Soldiers Ships Record Number of Packages
